Upcoming Range Closures

The Main Clubhouse (Indoor Archery & Indoor Pistol Ranges) will be CLOSED at 6:30pm on Wednesdays when there is a Membership Meeting / Tuesdays when there is a Board of Directors Meeting (first Wednesday of the month / last Tuesday of the month, full schedule posted on the Calendar).

The Rifle Range will be CLOSED one Sunday a month for remaining NRL22 matches in 2024: July 28th, August 25th, September 22nd, and October 27th.

The Shotgun Fields are CLOSED during some Outdoor Pistol Ranges events as posted to the Club Calendar by order of the LSA Board of Directors, 2024 Dates: Sundays, May 5th, June 2nd, July 7th, August 4th, September 1st, October 6th, and November 3rd. 

The Indoor Archery Range will be CLOSED weekly on Saturdays for 8 weeks beginning August 3rd, 2024, and ending September 28th, 2024, from 9:30am to 12:30pm (taking off August 31st for Labor Day weekend) for Youth Target Archery Program training sessions.

The Outdoor Pistol Ranges are closed during Shotgun Fields public hours or events as posted to the Club Calendar by order of the LSA Board of Directors.

We apologize for any inconvenience these closures may cause our members and guests.  Please make sure to check our Calendar before heading to the ranges!

Half-A-Grand-A-Month Raffle Winners for July 2024

Winners from the July 3rd, 2024, Membership Meeting drawing were:

Payment to winners will be made by check at the time of the drawing.  Participants are not required to be present to win, and non-present winners will be notified by letter, phone, or email.

July & August Shotgun Fields Hours

LSA Shotgun Fields are Open to Members and the Public Every:

Sunday     9am – 12pm (CLOSED 7/7/24 & 8/4/24)

Wednesday     9am – 1pm  &  4:30pm Dusk (Trap Big 50 @ 5pm begins 6/5/24)

Friday     4:30pm Dusk

Saturday     9am – 12pm (5-Stand @ 1-3pm 7/6/24)

Hours are subject to change, weather permitting

Pricing:
Members: $4 / round Trap & Skeet – $5 / round 5-Stand
Non-Members: $5 / round Trap & Skeet – $6 / round 5-Stand

Member Appreciation Steel Target Saturdays on Rifle Range Throughout July 2024

Tired of shotting holes in paper? Then come try your hand at targets that provide instant feedback! Starting Saturday, July 8th, 2024, the Rifle Range is proud to again offer member appreciation steel target shooting on Saturdays throughout July. From 9am to 1pm, steel targets will be setup under RSO supervision at the 50 and 100 yard berms. 200 yard and rimfire targets may be setup under special circumstances. Bays will also be available for regular paper target shooting. Cost is the regular range fees: Members $3, Guests $7. Any caliber rifle up to .308 is welcome, no steel core (green tip or black tip) ammunition is permitted. Dates in 2024: July 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th

NRL .22 Match - Sunday, July 28th, 2024 @ 10am Registration, 11am Start

We will be holding the NRL22 .22LR precision-rifle matches on the 4th Sunday of each month in 2024 (March 24th, April 28th, May 26, June 23rd, July 28th, August 25th, September 22nd, and October 27th; with November 24th and December 22nd tentatively scheduled) on the LSA Rifle Range, 10am Registration, 10:30am Safety Briefing & Sighting Shoot, 11am Start. Stages will begin around 11am and take about 4 hours to complete. We will shoot the 5 published NRL-scored stages and a Director-developed Club-specific stage. Cost: Members $20, Non-Members $30 (1 person/1 rifle), spots are limited and registration required through Practiscore.com.

The matches are open to the public. Competitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Acceptable rifles include any .22LR Bolt-Action or Semi-Automatic rifle (tube magazines are not permitted) or air rifles.
