4. MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS DUE DECEMBER 31ST, 2023
A Note from Membership Chair Virginia DuBois
If you do not renew before January 31st, 2024, your gate key card will be turned off on February 1st! In accordance with the LSA Bylaws, Members will be granted a grace period ending on January 31st to renew an existing membership while maintaining the eligibility requirements. To be considered on time, renewal paperwork must be postmarked or hand delivered to the Treasurer before the end of the grace period. After February 1st, a membership allowed to lapse will incur a reinstatement fee in addition to the annual dues, as determined by the Membership Committee Chair and approved by the Board of Directors, and they will not be eligible to run for any open Board of Directors or Officers positions in the annual election of November 2024. Anyone renewing after April 1st, 2024, will need to reapply for membership at a regular Membership Meeting and attend Orientation before their membership is reinstated.
