Steps for New Members
1. SUBMIT OR BRING a completed Membership Application
and payment (cash, check, or money order) for the appropriate fee [New Member membership options: Individual covers one individual over 18 for $120 or Family covers yourself, your spouse/partner, and all children in the household under 18 for $145; (membership fee reductions are only offered to NEW MEMBERS joining July 1st through October 31st, 2025, and the costs are Individual $60, Family $72.50; those joining in November or December 2025 pay full price and their membership is valid for the rest of 2025 and all of 2026) to a monthly Membership Meeting (held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm in the Main Clubhouse, unless otherwise noted on the Calendar) to be accepted by the membership into the Club per Bylaws requirement.
The next Membership Meetings will be held on Wednesdays, December 10th, 2025; January 7th, 2026; February 4th, 2026; March 4th, 2026; April 1st, 2026; May 6, 2026; and June 3rd, 2026, all at 7pm in the Main Clubhouse located at 565 Fairview Street, Lee, MA 01238.
2. Attend New Member Orientation
Dates and times for New Member Orientation sessions are listed on the Calendar and posted in the Main Clubhouse for safety procedures and to receive your gate keycard and access codes to the property.
The next New Member Orientations will be held on Wednesdays, December 17th, 2025; January 14th, 2026; February 11th, 2026; March 11th, 2026; April 8th, 2026; May 13th, 2026; and June 10th, 2026, all at 6pm in the Main Clubhouse located at 565 Fairview Street, Lee, MA 01238. Newly voted/approved members awaiting orientation will receive an email with further details.

If you / your family are unable to attend either the Membership Meeting or New Member Orientation, we will try our best to make alternative arrangements to assist you.

A Note from Membership Chair Larry Curtin – 2026 Renewals Are DUE December 31st, 2025
To those members who have already completed the membership renewal process, thank you for your continued and generous support of Lee Sportsmen’s Association! If you do not renew before January 31st, 2026, your gate key card will be be turned off on February 1st. In accordance with the LSA Bylaws, Members will be granted a grace period ending on January 31st to renew an existing membership while maintaining the eligibility requirements. To be considered on time, renewal paperwork must be postmarked or hand delivered to the Treasurer before the end of the grace period. Those renewing their membership after January 31st, 2026, may be charged a reinstatement fee of $20 in addition to annual dues to regain access to the Club, and will not be eligible to run for any open Board of Directors or Officers positions in the annual election of November 2026. Anyone renewing after April 1st, 2026, will need to reapply for membership at a regular Membership Meeting and attend Orientation before their membership is reinstated.

Purpose and Objectives
1. The preservation and propagation of fish and game, a proper respect for and the enforcement of game laws
The enactment of new laws for such purpose and the repeal of laws not in conformity with true sport. to aid in the preservation of forest and wetlands and prevention of pollution of lakes and waterways.
2. promote public safety and education
To promote public safety and educate the public regarding the safe and effective use of firearms for all lawful purposes.
3. Instruction and training
To foster and promote shooting sports, through qualified instruction and training.
4. Wildlife management and wise use of our renewable wildlife resources
To promote hunter safety, and to promote and defend hunting as a shooting sport and as a viable and necessary method of wildlife management, and wise use of our renewable wildlife resources.
