NRA Personal Protection in the Home

Personal Protection in the Home will be offered in two sessions, both sessions mandatory for course completion.  It is designed as a follow-up to the NRA Basic Pistol Course.  Participants are expected to be experienced shooters, able to show a mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling by passing a pre-course assessment or produce one of the following: NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate, NRA First Steps Course Certificate, NRA Pistol Competitive Shooting qualification card, Military DD Form 214 with pistol qualification.  Participants will be using their own designated self defense handgun (preferred), and must bring at least 100 rounds of factory ammunition.  Cost varies.  This course is conducted by NRA Certified Instructors.  Contact us at for more information and course dates.
