Cost: $20. Cold Range Rules apply; gun handling only at Safety Table. 5 magazines are required. USPSA is a fun and fast action shooting sport where we balance accuracy, power, and speed into a winning combination. Multiple targets, moving targets, targets that react when hit, penalty targets, or even partially covered targets, obstacles, movement, and other techniques are all used to keep USPSA shooters challenged and spectators engaged. USPSA matches are held all over the US with local clubs holding matches practically every day of the week. It is .22 & PCC friendly; pistols or long semi-auto (any caliber except .357 or 44 mag.). Six stages are set up based on official steel challenge designs. For April through August 2022: Registration 9:30am, Safety briefing 11:30am, Begins at 12pm. For September through November 2022: Registration 8:30am, Safety briefing 10:30am, Begins at 11am. See more details • •	21 Armed Forces Day Armed Forces Day May 21, 2022 See more details LSA Higher Education Scholarship Applications DUE LSA Higher Education Scholarship Applications DUE May 21, 2022 LSA 2022 Higher Education Scholarship Monetary amount: $500 There has been money allotted from our Midway USA Foundation Endowment Grant for scholarships for youth in 12th grade that are graduating from high school and have been accepted for continuing education in a higher institute of learning such as: 1. Four Year College 2. Two Year College 3. Trade School 4. Prep School This will be a one-time monetary award to be used for direct educational expenses, including tuition, books, or school equipment, such as a personal computer. The applicant must meet the following requirements: 1. Must have been a member (individual or family) of LSA for at least two years and must be a current active member (participant). 2. Must have been a participant in a youth program at LSA, including one of the organized youth teams (Buckshots, High Caliber, Air2Spare, archery, or youth hunts). The athlete must have participated in one of these programs for at least one season. Preference will be given to youth who are active members. 3. Will submit at least a one-page essay of what being a member of the LSA youth programs has meant to her/him, and include ideas, events, or people that have influenced them during their membership here. Submissions must include the athlete's name, mailing address, program(s) they participated in, current member activities, and the higher education institute that they have been accepted to. If the acceptance is pending, please note that on the application letter. All applications will be reviewed by the Youth Programs Committee, and a recommendation will be made to the Board of Directors for granting the scholarship. Applications are due by midnight on Saturday, May 21st, 2022 to be awarded at the Membership Meeting on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 at 7:00pm.
